We are thrilled to announce that the Hooked-on Group has successfully completed its revalidation for the Good Work Pledge, retaining our prestigious Advanced Accreditation. This recognition reaffirms our commitment to being a responsible employer and a leader in promoting exemplary workplace practices in the North East hospitality industry.
In 2022, we proudly became the first hospitality business in the region to achieve advanced status under the Good Work Pledge, an initiative established by the North of Tyne Combined Authority to celebrate and encourage businesses that prioritise workforce wellbeing and social responsibility. Revalidating this achievement highlights our dedication to maintaining these high standards.
To achieve advanced status, businesses must demonstrate excellence in five areas including: valuing and rewarding the workforce, promoting health and wellbeing, effective communication, developing a balanced workforce, and demonstrating social responsibility.
This revalidation is a testament to our ongoing efforts to provide an inclusive, supportive, and rewarding workplace for our 100-strong team across Blackfriars, Dobson & Parnell, and Hinnies.
