EVENING COOKERY CLUB – COOKING WITH WHISKY

Event Description

Uisge-beatha- the water of live! To celebrate St Andrew’s day on 30 November come and learn dishes that use a range of the many different scotch whiskies on the market. Turning the flavours from the Highlands and islands into mouthwatering meals.

EXPECT RECIPES LIKE:
+ Eggnog
+ Whisky-cured salmon with beetroot and blinis
+ Whisky mustard crusted pork chop with sautéed potatoes
+ Whisky Cream Sauce
+ Whisky Salad Dressing
+ Honey and Whisky Mousse
Exact recipes for this class will vary by season.

For home cooks who want to explore something new. Our cookery classes are relaxed, informative and fun and are specially designed by our teaching chefs to give you skills and confidence in the kitchen.

So enjoy an alternative night out preparing a delicious, seasonal selection of dishes which you can eat during strategic breaks or simply take home to enjoy in front of the T.V.! All of our weeknight cookery club sessions are suitable for beginner cooks and are led by our friendly chef tutors.

WHERE: Blackfriars Cookery School

TIMES: 6-9pm

COST: £75 per person per evening which includes all your food produce, and meal to take home and simple refreshments during the class. Places are only confirmed once paid in full and are non-refundable or transferable.

WHAT TO BRING: Aprons can be borrowed though please arrive in comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy. And bring your enthusiasm!
