Celebrate the rich traditions of Polish baking with this hands-on bread making course. Guided by our master baker, you’ll explore time-honoured techniques and flavours, working with traditional methods to create a selection of beautifully rustic bakes.
During the session, you’ll make:
- Traditional seeded rye sourdough
- Comforting potato bread
- Caraway seed loaf,
- ‘Makowiec’-style poppy seed strudel.
- You’ll also enjoy a demonstration of chałka, a classic braided egg bread.
Following the ethos of ‘proper bread’, we focus on quality ingredients, traditional processes, and baking by hand to produce breads that are both delicious and full of character. A little experience can be helpful, but it’s not essential—these courses are relaxed, informative, and fun, perfect for anyone looking to build confidence and enjoy the craft of baking.
