Brewing has long been part of life at Blackfriars. In the 13th-century friary, the Dominican Friars once crafted their own ales on site, continuing a tradition of hospitality that endures to this day.
In 2024, we proudly revived this heritage with the launch of our own craft brewery, St Dominic’s.
Join us to explore a guided tasting of five beers from our core range – modern brews inspired by traditional methods, each with its own distinctive character.
To accompany the beers, our chefs will serve a smoked hot dog in a soft brioche bun, topped with crispy onions and mustard mayonnaise, alongside golden fries — a feast worthy of the friary’s long brewing history.
Whether you’re discovering St Dominic’s for the first time or deepening your appreciation of great beer, this relaxed and sociable evening is the perfect way to experience brewing at Blackfriars once more.

COST: £43.50 including five sample beers and a smoked hot dog with brioche bun, crispy onions, mustard mayonnaise and fries.. Places are only confirmed once paid in full and are non-refundable or transferable.
