You will learn to make a classic street food dish that can take you to the streets of Bangkok or Mumbai and back, prepared at your very own individual workstation. Each class focuses on a particular street food, giving the chance to explore new and authentic ingredients in just one hour!
This event explores one of Spain’s most iconic dishes: paella. Originating from Valencia, this vibrant rice dish is packed with bold Mediterranean flavours and is a true celebration of simple, quality ingredients. Learn the secrets to creating perfectly cooked saffron-infused rice, balancing authentic seasonings, and preparing a traditional Spanish paella that’s ideal for sharing with family and friends.
Once the cooking is over you can sit, with a beer or glass of fizz, and consume your handiwork. These courses are designed to be relaxed, informative and fun.
WHERE: Blackfriars Cookery School
TIMES: 12 noon-1pm
COST: £35 per person which includes all your food produce, a glass of fizz or schooner of beer or soft drink and the cooked street food dish to either eat in the cookery school or take away. Places are only confirmed once paid in full and are non-refundable or transferable.
WHAT TO WEAR: Aprons are provided though please arrive in comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy.
